Rev. Dr. Christina Accornero

Rev. Dr. Christina Accornero is a person of many interests, wide education, and a variety of occupational experiences. She earned her Ph.D. at Fuller Theological Seminary, specializing in the fields of Intercultural Studies and Urban Missiology. In addition, she completed doctoral studies at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, in the field of Higher Education Administration.

 

Throughout her 40+ in higher education, she has directed, managed, consulted, administered, researched, coached, published, and started her own company, V3 Coaching.

 

Chris is a former NCAA Division 1 player and coach, having played three sports for UCLA (volleyball, basketball, and softball). Her work at UC Santa Barbara included faculty and administrative work, as well as being inducted into the UC Santa Barbara Athletic Hall of Fame, as coach of the 1973, 1974 nationally-ranked teams.

 

As a member of several professional organizations, professional boards, and committees, she had the opportunity to join with a few others to found Pathways Africa, working with women business owners in Southern Africa. Her current work as the Dean of the School of Community Ministry at Missional University allows for interaction with a variety of organizations and people.

Dr. Accornero considers it a privilege to serve faith communities as an ordained minister, pulpit supply speaker, and as a specialist for leadership development and organizational health.
