Watch Dr. Hill's video
Rev. S. Balajiedlang (Bala) Khyllep, Associate Director, World Mission Initiative, at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary encourages us to join this online event.
Most of the mission history we’ve learned has been from the perspectives of white Western Christians and about white Western missionaries, but there is more to the story. Will you join us this coming Oct. 6 and 13 for our virtual annual W. Don McClure Lectures on World Mission and Evangelism with Dr. Kimberly Hill? Dr. Hill is a historian of African-Americans' role in mission—especially in Africa—and Black missionaries’ impact back in the U.S. Her important research on the contribution of African-American missionaries to Protestant missions has been published in numerous ways, including her recent book, A Higher Mission: The Careers of Althea Brown Edmiston in Central Africa.
