A Requiem for Black Bodies
Join a cast of Howard University, Divinity School, and Consortium students and alum (Leah Burgess, Ebonee Davis, Rashid Hughes, and Schquita Goodwin) for the production of A Requiem for Black Bodies. The Requiem is a call to remembrance, reflection, healing, and ongoing engagement and action.

About The Event
In many traditions, a requiem is a solemn chant, drumming, dirge, or song for souls' repose (resting). A Requiem for Black Bodies is a contemporary urban stage production in remembrance of Black people traumatized by racism and violence in the United States.
